Westerly, Rhode Island, is famous for textiles, tourism, and another senseless shooting. On December 20, 2019, a 66-year-old man living in an assisted living complex opened fire, killing one person and injuring another. He went on to shoot a resident of the complex and eventually turned the gun on himself.
