In Big Sky Country, there’s a charming town called Ennis. In the early hours of June 14, 2003, a heavily intoxicated man left a bar, went to his car, and came back with a semiautomatic pistol. He opened fire on a group of people seated outside, injuring six and killing a 27-year-old man.

Is this how Ennis wants to be remembered?
