Charleston is the Holy City of South Carolina. And it also is the city of the Charleston Church Shooting. On June 17, 2015, nine black people were killed during a bible study. The killer was a 21-year-old white supremacist. He was arrested, prosecuted, and found guilty of 33 federal hate crimes. He was sentenced to death.

Is this how Charleston wants to be remembered?
